THREE WORDS: cheerful, colourful, sea breeze
Things we like in Brigthon:
Oh, we love walking along the beach, listening to the seagulls and the sounds of the sea. Other things:
Slice Sussex – Coffee shop, lounge, art space – all in one. Situated in one of the nicest neighbourhoods of Brigthon – Hove. They serve delicious organic food. Great (street) art on the walls, cosy sofas and the wonderfully crazy owner make it a heavenly place! They also organise cultural events such as short movie nights.
For lovers of: Dini Mueter, Kafi Dihei
The Bee’s Mouth Bar is a charming and vibrant bar. They play superb music and you feel just like at home. There’s lots to explore: a bar in the front, a cosy living room in the back and another room for concerts downstairs. Try the good choice of special beers and a yummy homemade Pimms – a must while visiting England, of course!
For lovers of: Longstreet, Hafenkneipe
Make sure to save some time for shopping. In the city centre, the north & south lanes offer the most amazing range of shops. You’ll find well known brands as well as smaller shops selling local treasures and design(er) goods.
Try Gardener Street: Nola Boutique, Edited Shop
Or, Bond Street: Tribeca, Lavender Room, PoshTottyDesigns
Absolutely worth a day trip is the Seven Sisters Country Park. The Seven Sisters are a series of very impressive chalk cliffs between Eastbourne and
Brigthon. Hike along the cliffs, enjoy the stunning views, take in the sea breeze and the real British landscape.
A great place to stay: Brigthon Love Nests.
