We especially recommend visiting the Fashion Days on Saturday when young and upcoming Swiss designers show their skills. Another must is the Friday Fashion Party: November 15th, after 10 pm, at Schiffbau.

On Thursday, upcoming fashion designer Claudia Nabholz from Baden presents her fall/winter collection at Hive club. The fashion show will be combined with the short movie “Command me to stay”. Afterwards you’ll have the possibility to shop the collection – for inspiration on what to buy, browse here.

BTW: Claudia Nabholz is also the owner of lovely café Frau Meise in Baden. Visit it for a Sunday brunch or a cozy afternoon coffee.

Today at 3pm, the legendary Saturday Style Ride – “a two-wheel extravaganza for elegant bicyle lovers” – will be the main attraction on Zurich’s streets.

It’s not about speed, but more about style and taking the time and biking with other people alike. Meeting- and starting-point is at Tinguelys Heureka sculptre at Zürichhorn.

A few years ago, we came across Mi & Yu and started ordering beautiful and fancy accessories in their online shop.
We were very pleased when we heard about their “real” store opening in the heart of Kreis 4, at Grüngasse 7. It is a small paradise of not only accessories, but also clothes by different designers.

The third Fashion Days Zurich promise to bring a dash of glamour and international stars such as Charlotte Ronson and Dawid Tomaszewski to town. So far, good. In myfriendfromzurichs opinion though, the real highlights of the Fashion Days are the shows of Swiss designers, among them Laend Phuengkit, Claudia Zuber and Little Black Dress (all three Zurich based) – just to name a few.

We are especially looking forward to the Annabelle Award on Thursday: It’s the opportunity to check out Switzerlands new blood, as five aspiring designers compete for an internship at French label Barbara Bui.

On Saturday, a stop at the Werft of the Maag Halle is a must for every fashionista. For the first time, twenty Swiss designers (some of them part of the runway shows) exhibit their collections for 2013 while their actual fashion can also be bought. The Swiss Designers Showroom is organized by the lovely girls of Montagsmarkt. Bring your purse – you might want to buy a piece or two.
