All this is celebrated once a year with square parties where long-established residents mingle with the young crowd. Local bands play for free and food stalls are ready to cure your hunger.

The program of the square parties has something for everybody: At Idaplatzfest (17./18.08.) there is a childrens flea market and a brunch (Sunday), at Röntgenplatzfest (23./24.08.) there are mainly concerts and political talks. The smaller and more intimate Hallwylplatzfes takes place on August 16..
