The annual Swiss Press Photo exhibition is a must for those of you interested in photography and news. The best works of Swiss press photographers on the topics of Current Events, Sport, Portrait, Foreign, Everyday and Environment, Art and Culture will be shown.

Photography lovers, there are three main reasons to travel to Wintherthur:
1. The Fotosmueum celebrates its 20th anniversary and for this reason shows the exhibition Concrete, where photography meets architecture, starting tomorrow, 2 March.
2. Together with the Fotostiftung Schweiz, it builds the Centre of Photography – one of the most important and interesting photography centres in Switzerland.
3. And last but not least: Zurich doesn’t have its own photography museum.
What to expect? Besides a remarkable collection of contemporary photography, there are always temporary exhibitions. And you’ll find more: a bistro, a library, seminary rooms, a lounge and a shop.
Winterthur is only 25km away from Zurich and the easiest way to get there is by public transport.
Why not start the new year with some culture?! photo 13, Switzerlands largest photography exhibition, still lasts until tomorrow. In five halls of Maag Areal you can browse the work of over 120 (mostly) Swiss photographers. Good thing vegetarian restaurant Hiltl provides the catering – you might need a break from the plethora of images.
The framework program of photo 13 is interesting too: famous photographers such as Swiss Magnum icon René Buri (tonight) and Steve Mc Curry (tomorrow) come for presentation and discussion to Zurich.
bettery magazine is the online publication of Smart (yes the car!) with emphasis on urban landscapes. With the series “Change of View” they created an interesting dialog by presenting one city through the lenses of two photographers.
For the Zurich issue, bettery magazine asked Pascal Grob, local photographer and blogger wunderkind, to portray his hometown and state what he likes about it, where he finds inspiration and what Zurich could do better in his opinion.
