This Portuguese surfers’ paradise is all about waves and beaches. However, it’s also a laid back little town in which to enjoy the Mediterranean ‘dolce far niente’ for a few days. On a city stroll, be sure to stop at the food market.
Nineteen – Bed and Breakfast
Perfect home from home for easy-going travellers. The hostel is situated in the centre of Peniche, close to restaurants, grocery stores, the central bus station and just a 10 minute walk away from the beach. From the modern interior fittings and the wooden bed constructions you can tell that friendly host Diogo is a former architect. Some rooms have private bathrooms and a balcony. Their scrumptious breakfast is served all day.
